Great Game for Tots: Guess what I am!

Two weeks ago, my son received a great game.

It’s called “GUESS WHAT I AM?”

In a nutshell it is a take on the old “GUESS WHO?” only, Much ,Much more fun for the little ones.

The game comes with 30 different, silly cards all depicting a different person or animal with the face of each person or animal cut out. Put the cards face down, and without looking each player will put the card up to your face… like so:

Here His Majesty is a magician… so he would start by asking yes or no questions, such as “am I an animal?”, and then start guessing things from there. Playing the game this way teaches children deductive reasoning… it also makes them crack up when they see Mommy as a Pig or Daddy as a Cheerleader! (of course if you have little cheater like I do, he will also get a kick out of telling you, that you are NOT an animal.. make you guess every feature a PERSON can have… all the while snickering and then cracking up when you’re puzzled brain finally gives up – finding out, all along you were a CLOWN FISH!)

You can also play this game as Charades! Where you act out your character… encouraging role playing and stimulating the imagination. My son loves to play this way as well because he (like so many other 3 yr olds) loves pretending to be all kinds of “cool” people.

Guess What I Am! is fun for kids 3 and up! So its a game they can play for years. You can play it nice and easy for the little ones, no dice, or keeping score and as they get older you can then decide to incorporate the die (which puts more rules to the game), play as teams, do lightening rounds, etc.

But possibly my favorite feature of this game? Its NOT electronic with annoying repetitive music or sounds! Just the sound of giggles… Its no wonder it received the IParenting award!

Check it out for yourself- go to the game’s interactive website and you can test out the fun by playing on line!(How many games can you test out online before you purchase?!?)

Let me know what you think… … … I promise you wont be disappointed! ;)

That’s a smart idea! I love those types of games. Like the 20 questions game. Althought that one os electronic. And doesnt’ actually require that I do the thinking.
