So I am back in my homestate of N.J… Mr.Complicated is on his way to work, Princess is already down for her 1st nap of the day and Im on my 2nd cup of coffee… This could mean only one thing– It’s time for my weekly list of things I DID NOT do this past week.
I did not get an awesome tan on a 4 hr boat trip, and make sure to send picture messages to all my friends and family to brag while they all froze their butts off at home (hehe.. Im evil like that)
In case you were at the outlets shopping on Wednesday night in Ft. Meyers.. I wanted to clear something up– it WAS NOT me… having a panic attack- occasionally breaking down in tears at the thought of getting on a (Continental) plane in bad weather with my 2 lil’ones with a 3+ hr delay.
When I finally did get on the plane the next day, I DID NOT want to strangle the woman next to me who thought it was perfectly ok to put her stranger finger in my daughters mouth!!! WTF!!!?!? … … Thats so gross. Im far from a germaphob, and I know that Princess puts everything in her mouth- but when she goes to put your finger in her mouth, Id hope the adult in the situation would know better!
Being a mom traveling with 2 small children & totally knowing what its like being a parent on a plane, it definitely WAS NOT me who was getting thoroughly annoyed by the lil girl behind me every time she opened her mouth without using her INDOOR voice and startling my sleeping baby.
…I also DID NOT offer said child a toy of my son’s to play with when her mother was ignoring her increasingly loud cries of ” I want my videogame, I want my videogame”… and her mother (whom I thought I was helping, not insulting) turned to me and snapped “SHE HAS ONE OF THOSE- SHE DOESNT WANT IT” … Yea, so I DID NOT want to knock that lady out.
Upon my arrival home, I was not so exhausted that I didnt notice all Mr.Complicated’s hardwork he did while we were was away and feel really guilty about it after the fact.
as for the Oscars???
I DID NOT scare myself with my blind picks in this year’s Oscar pool. 4 wrong out of 24?!? whaaaa?? I only saw 2 of those movies! lol( See what info you subconciously store in your head when you stay home all day– all that oscar buzz I heard obviously paid off!)
It wasn’t me who was channeling her inner Carrie Bradshaw when she saw Sarah Jessica Parker’s Fab & Fancy Oscar’s dress… for real, can I be her just for one day?!? I just want a place to wear ONE of her fabulous puffy, girly-girl dresses.
And last but definitely not least….
I am POSITIVELY-ABSOLUTELY-DEFINITELY NOT a little Obsessed with both the cast & crew of Slumdog Millionaire.. They are not the most humble and sweet looking people I’ve ever seen from “hollywood”… and I DO NOT want to maybe be their friend.
O yea… and no way, ut-uh.. IT IS NOT ME who has been seriously considering adding “Jai Ho” to her Ipod play list… and mmmaaayybbbeee learning the dance lol (and was not sad for the choreographer who was left our of the credits!?!) … ITS SO NOT the catchiest happiest song ever, Id NEVER consider any of that!
