Sometimes my son (like so many other kids) comes out with these crazy notions on life. They are things that only a child can say and although in real life the statement is so crazy and holds no factual relevance… it makes so much sense on simplistic level you think- wow, this kid is pretty smart!
For example – the other day while passing by some factory buildings blowing smoke he said to his Nana and Papa “Wow, its going to be a rainy day today. You know how I know?… cause look at the buildings making all of the rain clouds” (Obviously. duh. )
Well today while shopping… he came out RANDOMLY with another doozy.
He says to me
“Mommy, how do I grow eye lashes?”
He probably saw my face of “Great… how do I explain this one?” (seriously, have anyone of you ever wondered HOW we grow eye lashes?… … liar!)
so he quickly saved me from the embarassment of answering it by blurting out
“OOH! I know. I remember! … When I was a little baby, the doctor put little teeny tiny seeds in my eyes… yea, yea… don’t you remember that Mommy?”
to which I answered “Yep! I totally remember that!” (whew! That was a close one.. Mommy almost didnt know something)
… There you have it folks. Where eyelashes come from…. don’t you remember that?!
