Today is my 3 year anniversary!… you know, my LEATHER anniversary.
Last year, I was all excited about the leather anniversary because cotton was last year- and well… come on’ thats so boring.
However, I didnt realize that this year we would be in super recession and the most leather I was going to be getting was sitting on our old leather sofas.
Looks like I’m going to have to wait til our 9th or 10th year to get a really cool gift (leather or diamonds) according to the modern tradtion chart. Going by the old school one, I’ll have to wait til our Pearl anniversary — only 10 more years away!
On a side note: do you think it says anything about our society that Old school saved the Diamond anniversary for the 16th year, and the modern day one moved it up 3 years to the 13th?
Ahhh… it doesn’t matter right? silly, tradition gifts. My gift is that beautiful uncomplicated man that puts up with my crazy ass every day and gave me my 2 beautiful children…. though diamonds and fancy stuff never hurt a gal ;)
