Found My Orange Pride & Becoming A Hooter's Girl

Mr. Complicated and I came across this commercial the other night while watching CMT and initially, I must admit- I thought it was a joke.

Nope. Its for real.

Apparently all these years I’ve had Hooters all wrong, is not all about chicken wings, beer and boobs… no, its about supporting women who go on to be upstanding professionals… they play doctor fix us when we’re sick, they fight for our justice, … they teach our children.

And well  as you can see in the video below, really none of this would be possible without Hooters!

When I finally came to grips that this indeed was not a spoof of any kind, I thought this is even more absurd than that crazy “Completing Him” lady that Scary Mommy posted about last week.

And then it hit me. What if  The Completing Him Challenge wasn’t so freakishly 1952 crazy? What if this is my God-sent sign to participate? I mean Mr. Complicated did seem to pay close attention to the images on the screen.

It instantly became obvious what would truly complete MY man is having an successful career woman by his side… like a teacher..
with really big boobs, really small clothes & lots of buffalo wings.

The more I think about it, this may even been a great example for my kids- my daughter especially. I mean think about it. Every little girl should be able to look up to her Mom and say I want to be JUST like her- and my Orange Pride shining through will show her that her Mom is a confident, successful, driven career woman.

Truly this is a win-win for everyone. Already, my Orange Pride feels so liberating.

Now I just need big boobs to fill out my Hooters application.

    I knew I took a wrong turn in live by immediately going to college and grad school! Do they make Hooters uniforms with Spanx reinforcements?

      What a great suggestion Corrin!. So sorry to hear about college and gad school— its ok…at 18, we sometimes make silly choices… But with your enthusiasm, Im sure you can still get back on track– you know what they say… Its never to late to go back to Hooters.

    Oh, rats…no Hooters in my rural town. I guess I'll have to do the other challenge…after all, I apparently have to be nearly perfect for my hubby at something–slavery, sex, or whatever else the media tells me to do–or I'm a bad wife, right? :-)

    None of the Hooter’s girls in my area have big boobs, or small clothing (most of them are too fat for small clothing).  So around here it really is about the beer and wings.  Big boobs on a fat girl does not count.

    Excuse me, but I have a doctorate of physical therapy and I was a hooters girl for a very long time. I believe that if you have a talent and assets, they can be used to gain more in life. Please think before you post next time! Have a great day everyone :)
