Last time we took inventory, over our 5 years in parenting our house and (un-played-in) Playroom had acquired 1,426.27 toys
-the .27 accounting for those random accessories you look at and go “What the hell does this go to?”
Ok, ok- so we didn’t actually take inventory- but I’m a pretty well seasoned guess-timator- and that is my off-the-cuff guess-timation. Lucky kids right? I think so.
The problem is of those 1,426.27 toys… on a daily basis my kids play with approximately 5… that keep their interest for oooo, about 1.23 minutes.
Maybe its just my kids.
Don’t get me wrong, my kids LOVE their toys… just in small dosages… similarly to how I love double bacon cheese burgers. I love them… but do I want to eat them all the time? No.
When it comes to bringing new toys into the house, I try to be selective- because I can tell if a toy doesn’t stand a chance with my kids and their Double-bacon-cheese-burger-love for toys.
So you can imagine how AMAZED I was when my daughter played with Spin Master’s Pop On Pals Amusement Park for almost a half hour straight.
It was adorable. I think I may have even got a little teary eyed.
So instead me going on and on about it, I thought I’d let her video do all the talking:
This- my friends, is not the picture of double bacon cheeseburger love…. and that makes me a happy Mommy ;)
“ Pop On Pals (ages 2-4) is a world of fun pals, pets, vehicles and play sets with endless mix n’ match possibilities. The Pop On Pals Amusement Park Playset comes to life with lights, sound and music.”
The only drawback this toy has is the packaging. I think I counted something crazy like 12 twist ties. Is everyone with me when I say I think the toy industry should make it a standard to use those easy turn and snap twists?
