My son, 5, decided sometime in preschool that he wanted to be a chef (don’t ask, I was definitely was not his inspiration).
During the planning stages of my mother’s 50th birthday, when I ambitiously created my very first fondant cake- we happened upon a marathon of The Cake Boss: The Next Great Baker on TLC and his dream got a little more specific. He no longer wanted to just be a chef- he wanted to be a cake decorator- JUST- LIKE- BUDDY.
2 months later, our Lil’ Cake Boss has watched every episode –except for the one that made my son ask ‘Mommy, what is a “Bligzotic” cake?” (aka Stripper cake)- we had to cut that one short… VERY short. The lil’ Cake Boss has rebuilt every one of Buddy’s creations using Mega Bloks and Playdoh day after day fine tuning his craft and Buddy Valestro commentary.
So we thought we it was time to give him his own show. The first episode, a reenactment of The toilet bowl cake- because at 5 yrs old, there is nothing funnier than toilet bowl humor
Enjoy, the premier episode of- “The Lil’Cake Boss”
