I don’t know many people who do not love pasta, even my picky eater will eat pasta just about any way you prepare it for her– barring pesto. She draws the line at green sauce– girl doesn’t know what she is missing out on!
Pasta is essential staple in this Complicated household for several reasons– one being that its obviously delish, the other being that… well, I typically wait til last minute to prepare dinner. I have developed an incredible knack for whipping up a variety of impressive pasta dishes in under an hour (but ssh! … Don’t tell James, I’m fairly certain he buys the whole “slaving over a hot stove” bit.)
Though we are pasta-holics, we remain relatively healthy eaters, which surprises a lot of people. Yes, you can eat pasta twice a week and still maintain a healthy diet! It’s all about how you prepare it, and moderation of course.
October is National Pasta Month
Wednesday, Oct 24th I am teaming up with the National Pasta Association and registered dietician Sarah Ladden to chat about our favorite healthy ways to prepare pasta, as well as quick and easy pasta recipes to fool your husband into thinking he married Giada ;)
I’ve already started pinning some deliciousness many are healthy -those that are not, can be made-over healthy!
So if you love pasta as much as I do (and really? Who doesn’t??), Join us for a fun chat and the chance to win some truly awesome prize packs!!
