Found My Orange Pride & Becoming A Hooter’s Girl

Mr. Complicated and I came across this commercial the other night while watching CMT and initially, I must admit- I thought it was a joke.

Nope. Its for real.

Apparently all these years I’ve had Hooters all wrong, is not all about chicken wings, beer and boobs… no, its about supporting women who go on to be upstanding professionals… they play doctor fix us when we’re sick, they fight for our justice, … they teach our children.

And well  as you can see in the video below, really none of this would be possible without Hooters!

When I finally came to grips that this indeed was not a spoof of any kind, I thought this is even more absurd than that crazy “Completing Him” lady that Scary Mommy posted about last week.

And then it hit me. What if  The Completing Him Challenge wasn’t so freakishly 1952 crazy? What if this is my God-sent sign to participate? I mean Mr. Complicated did seem to pay close attention to the images on the screen.

It instantly became obvious what would truly complete MY man is having an successful career woman by his side… like a teacher..
with really big boobs, really small clothes & lots of buffalo wings.

The more I think about it, this may even been a great example for my kids- my daughter especially. I mean think about it. Every little girl should be able to look up to her Mom and say I want to be JUST like her- and my Orange Pride shining through will show her that her Mom is a confident, successful, driven career woman.

Truly this is a win-win for everyone. Already, my Orange Pride feels so liberating.

Now I just need big boobs to fill out my Hooters application.
