Reality Shows- everyone has one.

Why not Mom Bloggers? We’re raising the bar, raising money for charities and raising our kids all while simultaneously fighting off steryotypes lingering over us like a black cloud.  Through our sites, social media and networking, The Mom Blogging community has become a powerful force that marketing teams all over are trying every day to find new and exciting ways to work with.

Who wouldn’t want to watch a show about all of that?

Project Mom Casting is looking to discover a few savvy Moms in the blogosphere for a new reality show. The producers will be holding interviews in NYC during the Blogher conference Aug 6-7th and I would LOVE to land me some face time with them.

For you, Project Mom Casting Producers, I have created a bulleted  list for your snacking pleasure, highlighting-

Some reasons why I’d love to be considered for a Mom Casting Interview at Blogher

  • Every Show Needs A Jersey Girl- Jersey Shore, Jersey Housewives, Jersey-licious, Jersey Couture… its all about Jersey these days and I’m pretty certain Jersey Girls have become a much needed staple to make a Reality Show hit. While I’m not a table flipper, or a rocker of the Snooki Poof – I have rocked a mean Betty Page and live every day as blogger amongst a non-blogging community, trying desperately to be understood.

  • .Complicated Defines My Life, So I Made It My Business- I strongly believe anything that takes time away from family- is work. Inspired by the various  campaigns, summits, and ambassador programs  I’ve worked on through my blog, I recently  created my own consultation company,(site under construction) to help brands evolve into the “complicated” world of social media.

  • My Kids Think I Have The Coolest Job In The World Complicated Media’s 1st official client has been a joy ride for my kids. I am managing a mom based community with leading toy industry experts on The Big Toy Book’s new Private Sale Site.  In the eyes of a 5 year old,  could your Mom have any cooler job than one where she works with toys all day long?
  • If  One More Person Tells Me What I Do Is Not A Job, I’m Going To Scream … and your cameras should really capture that moment. Because my business is run from home, and involve (though not fully consumed with) things like  “Facebook”  and “Twitter”,  people outside of the Blogosphere  seem to think of my job as more of a “geek’d out hobby” where I play on the computer all day -commitment free and it is EXTREMELY frustrating (to say the least).
  • I Don’t Have Balance, But I Have Inspiration To Share My days are chaotic  and all hope of balance has been thrown out the window a long time ago.  However, I feel that I am proof that unbalanced days do not make you a failure. Though I don’t have it all figured out just yet, finding my way in the blogosphere has helped me redefine my goals and I’ve met some brilliant friends who continue to inspire my journey every step of the way.
  • My One Minute Submission I promise once you get past the crazy Ramona eyes in the still shot, it gets better.
