2009, for me- was kind… then again I wasn’t a celebrity… Or a teenager- …oh! You haven’t gotten the memo? … yea, apparently 2009 was tough on teens too cause according to my 14 yr old sister’s facebook status .. “2009 totally SUCKED“… its rough being a 14 yr old Drama Queen.

But whether the year was kind, or unkind- there is always something refreshing about a new year- isn’t there? Clean Slates, Resolutions and starting a new.

When we were younger (like o, say the beginning of the decade?) … ringing in the New Year was different, wasn’t it? … for me- it was all about fancy dresses, dancing and perhaps a cocktail or three. Now that there are kiddies in the equation, we’ve had to take it down a notch or 12. My friends and I do a Pajama Pizza party with the kids… Pj’s are a rule! Even with the men. This year I’m trying to convince Mr.Complicated to wear his BROBE (His Boy-robe) … We’ll see if I win.

From chatting this morning on Twitter, it seems a lot of us mama’s are doing the low key New Years Eve thing… so I thought it would be fun to Ring in the New Year Together- Bloggy Style ;)
