Reality Shows– you either love them or hate them. Personally? I love them- especially in marathons.
Kardashians, Mob Wives, Housewives, The Rachel Zoe Project… love. them. all.
I don’t care how fake they may be. Their crazy unimaginable “realities” are ironically, my escape from reality.
However, even I have my limit… and THIS? May be it.

The self proclaimed “Kim Kardashian” of my hometown of Staten Island and former Jersey Shore roommate, Angelina Pivarnick wants you to fund her big TV “comeback”
[ …insert confused pause…]
While some may make jokes about the Kickstarter project itself, l am going to cut Angelina some slack and skip to the incentives of backing it… because while I’m not sure what Angelina has been doing since her exit from the shore house, it does appear that she packed up her garbage bags and has taken up residence in CRAZY-TOWN.

When you contribute to the “Comeback” project, you are promised Twitter Shouts and follow backs on Twitter.
Clearly by the enthusiastic ” ! “‘s, this 140 character-fame is quite the awesome opportunity.
For just $1 the reality comeback-kid will give you a shout out.
For a slightly larger investment of $5 you get a follow back! It’s not clear if on the $5 level she will also give you shout out, so you may need to just skip to the $25 level which clearly states “She will tweet you too!”
Moving right along to the $1000 level (yea, I’m looking at you big-spender), it states:
“You will get the opportunity to meet Angelina if you are local in the Tri State area or if you come to the Tri State area, you will also get a Skype with Angelina, a phone call, a signed photo of Angelina and a tweet!”

There are obviously a lot of reasons this offer is a hot mess, starting with it being a run on sentence (this coming from the queen of typos)– But let’s evaluate this offer for those Sugar-Daddys out of state that are looking to invest, shall we?
If you are out of state, you will have to incur the expense of travel and accommodations in addition to your $1000 -OR- um, you basically just get to reap the benefits of the $500.

I don’t know, you guys.
I love to support my fellow Staten Island peeps who are doing amazing things (Why, hello Chris Terrio! We loved Argo!) but I’ve learned a lot from Shark Tank .
Angelina, you’re young. Time is on your side. None of us had it all figured out at 25. Hell, at 32 -married with two kids I’m still figuring it out. Reality TV is not your only calling, I promise you that.
Right now, for me? The evaluation on this investment just doesn’t make sense. For that reason, (and the fact that I can’t bring myself to support teens idolizing and aspire to this) I’m out.
