This month I partnered Netflix to become part of their Stream Tream and talk about some great movies!
October is Anti-bullying month. Time and time again, I am shocked at how young kids begin bullying. I’ve heard of stories as young as 4 years old.
Bullying has been around for years but today, we have seen it get far worse, as kids can no longer leave their bullies at school… they virtually follow them home via social media and text messages.
At 5 and 8 years old my own two kids have had their own run-ins with bully-type situations. Nothing too serious, but enough to hurt their feelings and break my heart.
Kids can be cruel and opening up that conversation about bullying at home with your kids is important to start at an early age and continue through their teen years. Movies can help open that dialogue.
