Today is my son’s ELEVENTH birthday. My very first baby. My SPRING BABY…. and it is 20 degrees out.
Insanity.
But despite the confusing weather forecasts, it is indeed SPRING and in the spirit of those warming temps (that are just around the corner), today I am taking over The Mill’s At Jersey Garden’s Instagram account to share some of my favorite spring finds and trends that I spied during my latest visit.

I’m a big believer in throwing rules out the window, trying things on and playing with all the different trends to find what works for you, so first….
Let’s Talk Trends To Try
(above styles found at Century 21)
- Bright oranges + magentas
- Flowy florals (romantic chic is in, in, in!)
- Off the shoulder
- Chambray light wash denim tops
- Strappy ballet flats
- Tie-Dye
- White distressed denim

If you’ve been reading the site for a while you know that The Mills is one of my favorite local outlet malls, and one of the many reasons that is, is because every time I visit I walk away obsessing over a new outlet store (and at this point, I’ve probably been in every single one about 10 times over)!
This visit it was Century 21. Shoes, rompers, birthday gifts for the hubby– you name it– I found (and bought) it. And I found out that they carry Vintage Havana – which is one of my favorite brands for beachy-summer styles- tons of linen and crochet fabrics, off the shoulder tops and dip-dye tie dyed prints.
Here is a sneak peek of some of my favorite styles you can find today at The Mills At Jersey Gardens…
Finds For Her:
Strappy ballet flats are everywhere you look these days and I am straight up addicted, friends. Last visit to The Mills I scooped up a pair of pointy ballet flats at Call It Spring that tied around the ankle and this time I scored these round-toed Jessica Simpson ballet shoes– $39.99– originally $69!
I had a hard time deciding which color to get… (follow me over at The Mills’ instagram account to see which I chose)

Utility jackets are a big trend right now and are perfect for transitional weather and chilly spring/summer nights. I scoped out the one below at the Hollister outlet (how cute is that floral dress next to it too?)

FOR THE KIDDIES:
The Kids Gap Outlet and PS by Aeropostale had a ton of great sales and styles.
Magenta and orange are a huge trend this season and the Kid’s Gap Outlet had some super cute stuff in these colors for for spring and summer… another reason I heart the Gap outlet is because it always seems to speak my shopping love language…. 40% – 50% off!

The PS by Aeropostale store at the Mills at Jersey Gardens is the only one here in the New York/New Jersey area, so I always try to stop in to see what’s new.
Right now, their island-inspired displays made me want to pack our suite cases and hop a flight for a spring getaway– also, lots of the bright magentas, oranges and 50% off sales to be found there!

FOR HIM:
Hollister had a lot of really great sales to stock up a guy’s summer/ spring break get-away wardrobe.
I mean who doesn’t want $14.99 shorts? There were a huge variety of styles and were all super soft too.
