Winter break has come to an end and it is once again time to get back into our early morning school routine {insert the collective pouting of both parents and children heard around the world, here}.

Getting two kids ready and out the door for school with a newborn in tow, can be challenging and dare I say, at times a bit hectic.
Who doesn’t want to get up in the morning (admittedly, this is sometimes me), who can’t find their shoes or decide what they what to eat for breakfast … the baby needs to be fed and… ahhh! We’re going to be late for the bus.
It’s a routine I am still working on getting down pat.
Some mornings are smoother than others, but I have definitely noticed that when our mornings have a great start, everything else in the day just seems to fall into place a little better. Have you ever noticed this? It’s true not just for mornings, but so many different tasks and goals.
That’s why I’m SO excited to be teaming up with Kellogg’s this winter to master those great starts like a champ! Over the next few weeks, I will be taking tips from Team Kellogg’s, applying them to our busy family of 5 (That still sounds so weird to me. I can’t believe we are a party of 5!) and sharing it all with you here.

These tips will not only include ways to improve morning routines, but how to achieve a variety of small goals in our day. A perfect start to a new year, yes?
Kellogg’s® believes that From Great Starts Come Great Things®. So we’re helping Moms start every day with a tip from the top athletes of Team Kellogg’s™ and Team USA dietitians. The thirty days leading up to the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games will each feature fun pieces of advice to help families fuel just like the athletes of Team Kellogg’s.
Stay tuned my friends, it’s going to be Grrr-eat! (Get It?? … ha!)
