Before Tonight’s final performance episode of The Voice, it was rumored that Xtina through a bit of a hissy fit over Tony Lucca’s performance of 99 Problems– which was very clearly directed at her (and in my opinion, fittingly so).
Christina passed snide remark, after snide remark when it came to Tony’s performances this season.
Was she threatened he would outshine her team’s star, Chris Mann? Is there some sort of deep-rooted-unrequited-tween love story there? I don’t know.
What I do know?
Although I have no confirmation, I am sure that after his performance- Jay, B and Baby Blue could be found giving a standing ovation.
I have long been a fan of what I have been known to call …. “The Wonder That Is Tony”. While his Mouseketeer status seems to haunt him, at 12 I watched him on Mickey Mouse Club, at 21, my friends and I were meeting up after work, waiting on long lines in the cold to see him play at The Bitter End, The Cutting Room, The Elbow Room.. and at 30(mumble muble) years old, I am here sharing…
