Now that it is officially time for the Winter Games, Team Kellogg’s is sharing some of the simple ways they prepare themselves for the big event!

If I were to fill in that last column, it would read:

Favorite Cereal: Kellogg’s Low-fat Granola
(mixed with low fat yogurt? TO.DIE. FOR!)
Favorite Snack: Kellogg’s Special K Bar
Warm-Up: Power Walking
Taking long brisk walks has been something I’ve loved to do since I was teen. It helps clear my mind, and feel energized. I could quite literally walk a 5K every day and love every minute of it. I’m not a fitness expert (like not even close), but I feel finding an exercise you enjoy doing is an important first step. We can always build from there- right?
Running is something I’d love to be become better at in the future, but for now walking is my thing. Of course, during the winter, it gets challenging (especially with all of this awful snow), so in lieu of outdoor walks I try to walk on the treadmill or do laps up and down our steps.
What are some ways you exercise in doors the winter?
